Phụ Nữ Việt Nam 02 - "Vietnamese Woman 02" - is the second work in the series, and the most opulent of the two. A young woman in a dark, richly embroidered áo dài and a conical hat looks softly to one side, holding a single pink lotus bud between her fingers. She is surrounded by large, fully open pink lotus flowers and broad teal leaves against a luminous gold background, the whole surface shimmering with warmth.

Where the first work in the series is quiet and interior, this one is more outward and celebratory. The gold background - painted with visible texture and movement - gives the composition a almost ceremonial quality. The lotus flowers are handled with bold, confident strokes and deep pinks that contrast vividly against the gold. The embroidery on the áo dài is rendered in warm amber and gold, blending the figure into the background in a way that feels considered and deliberate.

At 70 × 80 cm it is the larger of the two works in the series and has a commanding presence. It suits a prominent position - above a fireplace, on a feature wall, or as a centrepiece in a living or dining room. The warm gold, pink, and teal palette works beautifully against dark walls, warm white, or timber panelling. The two works from the series displayed together make a strong, cohesive statement, though each stands equally well on its own.

This original painting is shipped as a rolled canvas - unframed and unstretched. Rolling is the safest and most practical way to transport original artwork internationally, ensuring the painting arrives in perfect condition.
